. . . I still haven't installed the Christmas tree.
Today is Sophie's 17th Birthday and tomorrow she comes to spend the week-end with us, I always have the Xmas tree up because she loves it, I think I am going to build it during the night now.
Well I have a good excuse, I did 2 washes yesterday and I wanted to save on the electric dryer so I hung everything inside the house but it's so wet and humid outside and even inside that nothing dries. I have put everything in front of the only free radiator in the living room and that's exactly the place where the Xmas tree goes every year.
So, patience, patience , lol.
Let's reflect challenge - December : Go for it
Darling Husband has decided to have a massive Go For It and to count all his spare coins from all the countries he travels to.
No, better than that, he asked me if I could help him. Well, when a man asks for your help, it normally means he doesn't know how or doesn't want to do the job and expects you to do it for him.
That one was no exception. Sorting out the UK pennies, the Euro centimes and the US cents was a lot
of fun : Seriously recommended (if you turn out to have absolutely
NOTHING else to do) . . .
After a good hour, I managed to dig out 4 pounds. Well worth my time hey ? LOL.
Hopefully back tomorrow with the Xmas tree pictures and some of Sophie's Birthday.
Take care everybody, xxx

LOL so typical eh? Know what you mean re the drying of clothes I hate putting the tumble dryer on!! xx
Fun post! I'm afraid we always use the clothes dryer because we have no place outside to hang them. We do hang some things wet because the dryer has a tendency to shrink cotton. Those we put on hangers and hang them in the bathroom. Of course we still have our air conditioning on here so they do dry quickly. What do you do with all of those coins from other places? Can you exchange them for your local currency? Looking forward to your next post.
I'm afraid I waste electricity and dry all my clothes in the tumble drier, then hang up as many as possible quickly hoping I won't need to iron them. My excuse - we would use electricity if I had to put the iron on.
That is a great collection of coins.
Looking forward to seeing your Christmas tree.
I've been catching up on your posts from the last week, and I feel your pain in not quite getting to the tree . .. that's how I've felt about my cards! Glad to see you back in blogland.
