Getting better

Nothing much to report, excepted the weather is getting a bit better and a bit warmer, so it's really welcome.

The girls are fine, both under antibiotics. It takes me longer to prepare all the meds ( and hide them carefully for Rhea) than to prepare their breakfast as such.

Dennis is fine too and I don't have anything to complain about.

Nostalgia Challenge - April : Name that tune

A nice and relaxing challenge hosted by Kathi.

Music has always played a very important part in my life, may be because my parents enrolled me in a school of music when I was 7. I continued until I was 18 in parallel with 'normal school", then unfortunately after a year of Sciences University and a year of Harmonics in parallel, it was too much work. I needed to make a choice, so Sciences it was, but music is like bicycle, once you learnt, you never forget.

By the way, the " is like " reminds about something. When I talked to my parents last night, my mum told me she found a piece of paper I wrote on when I was little and roughly translated, it said : "" Absence is to love what wind is to fire: It destroys the small ones and increases the big ones. " She insists I wrote that and didn't copy it from somewhere. Well, may be. I must have had a vision about my future life with Dennis and his travels, LOL.

Back to the topic, I am very much touched by music and by lyrics the same way.

I give you 2 examples for today :

Freddie Mercury always fascinated me as he had a voice that gave and give me chills. My biggest dream was to go and seen Queen live. Unfortunately he passed away before I could. I remember exactly where I was, driving along the Viktualienmarket in Munich Center when they announced on the radio that he died. I remember parking my car along the road and crying. There are many songs of him that fascinate me, I chose this one because it's a bit different and their voices mix so well.

This second song is also related to Munich. I was shopping for Xmas presents and from the corner of my ear I heard a song being played in a shop. I entered and just stayed there, listening. After that, I rushed home to try and know what it was. I have all his CDs and I am a very big fan too, Italian language is so beautiful.

I will choose some other songs tomorrow or I will blow my Blogger allowance in a day !

Take care everybody, xxx
