She found a short but powerful way to say exactly what I feel but couldn't put into words. She says :
Every day I try to thank God for how lucky I am to be here and enjoy my family. Ok, some days I don't feel as lucky as others and some days I feel positively unlucky but I'm not really.
When I was a little girl, I was convinced that something or someone was protecting me. It's true that I had difficults times but I always rebounced to come out stronger and happier.
Nowadays, it's the same, like Viv, there are some days I feel positively unlucky ( love that expression), I complain a lot and I have plenty of "why me moments", but on the next day it's gone and I know how lucky I am to have such a nice family, a roof on my head and something to eat everyday, because in the end, that's all that matters.
That's not a specially impressive picture, but I like it as it shows a relaxed moment in our life as well as most of the 2 and 4 legs I am so lucky to have around me.

A lovely family photo you really are blessed with family here, in Wales and of course in France too. How are your parents?
Great family photo. I think we are all blessed with our families. Having them around can make even the bad days better.
