Back home

Hello everybody,

ah, the joy of going back to nature . . .  If it could exclude the weather . . .

Before we rented the motorhome, we heard that a second hit wave was coming so it was clear to us it would be hot and sunny. How we could be so silly and not plan or at least think about what happened, I don't know. I only had short trousers, clogs, no socks. The first day in Wales was 11 degrees. Thanks God we had decided to spend a couple of days at my Father in law anyway. We were supposed to leave on wednesday morning but it was pouring down so so much that we decided to spend another night. We left on thursday morning

We went to the New Forest where the weather was a bit better. We managed Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon and evening outside and it was a lot of fun.

When it was raining

we all found things to do in order to be patient

and when it wasn't, we were staying outside or exploring. The New Forest is very beautiful with horses and cows free, even in the camping by the way.

It was a lot of fun. We took Bubbles on long walks as Rhea couldn't walk that far and she was very intrigued but behaved perfectly.

The girls had a mixed feeling about the motorhome, it's vibrating quite a lot, but when not driving, they were both happy to be outside in the fresh air

They were specially delighted smelling all these good smells we don't have in our garden (thanks God LOL).

All in all a very nice week for us all despite the rain.

As of the small additional challenge I gave you, this is mine. I cheated a bit on the chronology of the days as it was raining so much sometimes I couldn't take pictures, but everything was taken during the holidays :

M is for Monday and M is for Motor home

Of course our Motor home, easy coincidence for Monday

T is for Tuesday and T is for Trees

Trees everywhere.

W is for Wednesday and W is for Water

Some of the water we had taken with us ( in case it wouldn't rain enough LOL)

T is for Thursday and T is for Tent

A tent not too far from us

F is for Friday and F is for Food

Home or not, Dennis always manages cooking delicious food !

S is for Saturday and S is for Spoon

We had forgotten to take tea spoons so I had to eat my yogurts with a table spoon. That's . . .  different.

S is for Sunday and S is for Salt

Thank you to all of you for participating to the challenge this week, although I wasn't much around.

Take care everybody, xx

pleased you had a good time despite the rain. funny about the spoons, I use a teaspoon for my yogurts which my mum thinks is mad- she uses a dessert spoon, lol.

I love the pictures. It looks like you had such a great time. It appears the girls did as well. I would love to rent a motor home sometime and travel like you did but I don't see it happening. Such fun!
