Relaxing is so good

Yesterday morning we left the girls at their sitter's house and we left for London.

We had a big look around, we don't go there too often, so it's always nice to be there again. At 3pm, we had tickets to see an Imax 3D movie. I had seen Imax movies before, I had seen 3D movies before, but never both together. We were so excited we arrived half an hour in advance so we had to wait a bit. Guess what Dennis does best when he needs to wait "

It already cost him a plane or two, but he learnt and when he is alone, he even sets an alarm as he knows he will fall asleep.

Then it was time to go inside.

Already the size of the 3D glasses was impressive.

We watched Pacific Rim (Aliens come from deep in the oceans to invade earth) and it was . . . WOW.

Then we headed for Cambridge. Our Hotel was in the center close to a pedestrian area and we had a lovely meal outside.

This morning we went to Microsoft. I waited in the coffee area while Dennis was picking up his stuff. We had the nice surprise to hear that Microsoft members can enter free into the Botanical gardens so we bought a sandwich and went to visit. It was really nice, beautiful flowers and massive trees (a bit difficult to catch on camera).

We then drove back home and even managed to avoid the M25 chaos, so all went perfectly well. We picked up the girls and now we are enjoying a glass of white wine in the garden.  So related to last week :

Summer is . . .  for holidays .

I will try to pop in in a couple of days again.
