Not much time but I don't want to start fading away again, so I will go directly to Kathy's challenge :
What jobs I have had and how they have changed over the years?
AH that's a challenge written for me.
I have changed directions so many times and each time it was so much fun.
I studied Natural Sciences at University. I was a teacher in High School, then a teacher in a nursery school, then a teacher in Jordan (yes, the country).
After a couple of years, I studied computers and I was selling Hardware
(Networking cards . . .). 5 years later, I got a job offer and changed to Software and moved to Germany.
12 years later, when I met Dennis and moved to England, I had an Ebay shop for a couple of years. You know, as you see in movies: The girl asking the guy "Oh and what do you do for a living ?" And the guy with a smile " You know, I buy and I sell". Well I am sure he also had an Ebay shop, becasue that's exactly what you do : You buy and then you sell . . .
After that I opened a Crafts company and I was designing cards and 3D gifts for people. Tough work as people want to buy but they don't want to pay.
Then I decided I needed to see a bit more people, so I went to work part-time in our local Post Office for 5 or 6 years. Then I had enough (my boss was kind of wakko . . . . Some customers I met again afterwards told me I would have deserved a crown for having spent so much time with her. I know, I know, but I never got it) . That's exactly at that time that I fell down the stairs so I basically did nothing for a year (excepted repairing myself, LOL)
Then it was my birthday and Hubby offered me a Mac. So I learnt programming on Objective C and now my first app is very close to be in the App store (yeah), just finished asking for authorization from the American Bureau of Industry and Security (you wouldn't believe the things you need to do).
So that's where I am right now, at least for a couple of years I reckon.
On the funny side of things, I signed 4 of my work contracts on the same date: 1st of April. Obviously of different years.
I must go back to my application, I hope to have it all finished by the end of this week.
Take care everybody, xxx
