Fate/Destiny again

I have been talking about fate and destiny a lot in this blog. Here we go again.

Yesterday afternoon we wanted to go to Asda to get a few things and also watch some Olympics so I thought it was better to go out and have a play with Bubbles immediately as long as it wasn't raining.

We had fun and played the ball but after 5 minutes when she came back with her ball, it was very slowly, like walking on eggs and she had her " I've done something stupid look " on her face and she laid down. I called her and she came to me but she was limping.

Obviously she hadn't done anything stupid so she got a big cuddle but we had to go back home. We checked every paw pad and all was OK, so we hoped the limping would go but it didn't and I didn't want her to be hurt so I brought her to the Vet in the evening. She kind of twisted her shoulder. She got some meds and needs small walks on lead only for the next week, then we see.

It's not bad, but I can't help thinking that if we would have gone out 10 minutes later, it wouldn't have happened !

This morning she seemed brighter and it was raining so she stayed in-doors anyway.

I went to the Vet this morning again but for Rhea, to check on her paws. She is basically walking well one day and badly the 2nd, then it starts all over again. We decided to wait for the blood test in 2 weeks to see how the Kidneys values are and may be then, we will adjust the meds.

Project 365+1 - Day 215 : Point

Thanks to Jen for texting me the word today as I was at the Vet and hadn't seen it.

One of Google definitions for " Point " is : a sharp end of a tool.

Here are my lovely waterbrushes

Take care everybody, xx

aww poor bubbles.. that will be hard for her :( dont go beating yourself up about it though, i dont think that it would have made a blind bit of difference if you had gone sooner or later! sometimes, things just happen, for no particular rhyme or reason and this is just one of those things. Cooper often "missteps" and then limps for a bit.. she still would have caught that ball whether you had gone before or after.. hugs to all 3 of you ladies
