Am I a weirdo ?

Project 365+1 - Day 30: Collection

When I get the word of the day, I love googling it and having a look at all the possible definitions of that word, but something always amazed me : Have you noticed that when you read the definition for a noun, most of the time you will find the corresponding verb in that definition?

For example, COLLECTION: The action or process of collecting someone or something.
So if you don't know what Collect means, you are back to square one. Funny, isn't it?

Anyway, thank you Suzie, that's a nice word.

I am not sure anybody will still talk to me after seeing what I collect, but I hope in your heart of crafters, many of you will understand and even identify !

In case you have difficulties to identify on the photo, these are empty toilet rolls and kitchen rolls.

Now, it's not an Obsessive Compulsive stuff (I already have enough on my plate without that, thank you), no, I collect them because they are extremely useful for horizontal storage of promarkers or any other kind of pen, for making vertical pencil holders, mini books, mini books spines, making little boxes to store some embellishments and more...

The only thing I will agree with, is that I could do with a bit less of them, but as soon as I come across one, I don't have the heart to put it into the bin.

You know, it could be helpful . . .

Take care everybody, xxx

ok this IS getting strange now :D ive got a bag full of those very same rolls sitting up here, the plan was to use them either for "the" minibook (i was going to do one on the kids' toilet humour) or to use them as home made crackers etc.

Are you sure were not related somewhere along the line?? any ancestors in the Rhein region of germany :D :D

Time to confess - I've always got one or several bags of toilet rolls in the corner of my craft room and 50% of the time I am impressed by all the wonderful projects that I find on the Internet via Pinterest and the rest of the time I keep throwing them away but immediately start collecting them again.

I haven't a collection at the moment but I use them to plant seeds in as well. I like your ideas Anne and will start collecting them for craft as well. How do you make a minibook from them.
