In a small village, an old man has a small farm. One day his horse runs away, making it almost impossible for the old man to take care of his farm.
His neighbour tells him: What a bad thing for you !
The old man answers: What's good, what's bad ?
The next day, his horse comes back, bringing with him 2 wild horses.
His neighbour tells him: What a good thing for you !
The old man answers: What's good, what's bad ?
The next day, the old man's only son falls out of one of wild horses and breaks his leg, so he can't help in the farm anymore.
His neighbour tells him: What a bad thing for you !
The old man answers: What's good, what's bad ?
The next day, there is a war declaration in the next province. The police comes and takes the neighbour's son to serve in the army but doesn't take the old man's son because of his broken leg.
His neighbour tells him: What a good thing for you!
The old man answers: What's good, what's bad ?
It can continue for as long as you want. I love this fable because it reflects that it all depends not on what happens in our life but how we look at it.
Today was a bad day for me, so I try to keep an open mind and look forward to what tomorrow might bring me.
As long as we are in psy stuff, I read something on a T-shirt yesterday, that I really liked:
Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans.
Project 365+1 - Day 22: Glowing
We were doing some tests this afternoon for work and I happened to take a photo of the oscilloscope, what produces a kind of really glowing light.
But my real challenge photo is one of my Glow in the Dark Ducky. It glows in a wonderful yellowish green.
It's just almost impossible to take a picture of it...
Take care everybody, xxx
