DH is away and yesterday I had some urgent questions regarding work, so we organized a Skype meeting. Technology can sometimes be invading our lives but some other times it is the most wonderful thing ever.
I could see him as if he were in front of me and all points were resolved in a matter of seconds as I could show him things.
Last night I went to the movies with a friend and we saw " Fishing salmon in the Yemen "
( I wonder if Michelle and Daniel went too ?) . It's a nice refreshing comedy, I recommend it.
Today I am expecting many work parcels from different couriers and I will spend most of the day at home to make sure I catch them, so we went for our walk really early today.
After the pouring down of last night we are lucky to have some sunshine. No insects though, I guess they are still trying to dry. So I went back to flowers and new leaves :
Project 365+1 - Day 102 : Elegant
Rhea doesn't like rain but this little beast loves water and all what already fell on the ground is not rain anymore but water. This morning the grass was absolutely soaked with some paddles here and there, so Rhea did what she does best : trying to beat the olympic record for forward and backward wet rolls per minute.
I could strangle her when she does that, because it can be water, mud, dirty stuff . . who cares. She also always does that when I am too far away of course and when I shout at her, I could swear there is a smile on her face like " yeah, shout ! There is nothing you can do about it anyway . "
And she is right. Excepted keeping her on lead and removing all her fun from the walk, what I don't want, there is nothing I can do about it, so when we came back she was soaked but happy.
I don't know if she looks elegant in that, but a long and thorough dry was the price she had to pay in order to be allowed in the living room.
Oh and don't worry about her " I am mistreated in this house everyday " look, she certainly deserves an Oscar for her performance !
Take care everybody, xxx

LOL to Rhea!!
Gosh you were early out and then posting, I am preparing the lounge for the new carpet by laying some new tiles at the patio door where we cannot have carpet..must go and take a photo!!
lol well she IS a goldie girl.. coopy is the same, he wont so much as stick his nose out the back door when its drizzling, let alone raining.. but, he sees a minute puddle of water and he can manage to get himself all soaked and muddy in the blink of an eye. but he loves the drying off and cleaning after just as much, so at least we dont get a guilt trip from him... dd has the gold medal for that
LOL No we didn't . Which camera have you got, it takes lovely photos?( or rather you do)
Holly is exactly the same- she hates rain on her face, but jumps into any bit of water she can find. But she absolutely loves being dried- she thinks it's a game.
I fancy seeing that film- didn't know it was a comedy.
Love your photos.
She's a star what a wonderful expression on her face
Very elegant. She reminds me of a 40's hollywood starlet :)
Your shots are fantastic. I always love looking at your posts. The fact that you manage it whatever is going on makes me happy. I'm so sorry that the black dog visits you, so not fair when you are obviously someone that looks for the good in every day and in the detail. Big kudos and hugs for you at this third way milestone :) xx Jen
Oh and strange that you talked about the positives and negatives of technology today as I am dealing with that with some writing that I'm doing. Would you do me the favour of proof-reading it when it is done? You have the sense of humour that I want to appeal to with it and I need some feedback good and bad? It will probably be a few months before it's finished with my workload and poorly brother.
