" Just " Happy !

Today is a Won-Der-Ful day.

The weather is nice but not so extraordinary. The dogs weren't more obedient than normally in the park. Nothing special happened. I didn't meet anybody I really like. I didn't get any good news. I didn't win the lottery ( I wish . . .  ). I still have a lot of work to do before DH comes back. My house looks more a mess than ever. I need to go to the supermarket and saying that I don't like it is an understatement BUT I am Happy with a capital H.

It's one of these blessed moments where I am happy without any external reason. Very often we are happy because something happens that brings us joy and there is nothing wrong with that but today I am happy without reason, just to be alive and be around, happy to feel the sun, happy to hear the birds. People in the park seemed different this morning. In fact they weren't, my attitude towards them was different and because I smiled  they smiled back and they seemed happier when they continued their walk.
It is so true that only one person can influence so many others.

Yes, today is one of these moments where I understand the meaning of " Just be " .

Don't worry I didn't turn into an enlightened Buddist, long way to go. I am just enjoying the moment, it's so nice and I wish I could share it with everybody.

Don't you think that because I am in Nirvana, you can get away without a cloud picture. Took it yesterday whilst having my lunch in the garden.

Project 365+1 - Day 104 : Petal

Today's word was a job for the big red whale. Mind you I didn't notice so much in the past years how low the earth is getting but today, Gosh, was it low. Lynne was talking about age yesterday, well I am certainly not getting taller and if it goes on that way, the red whale will have to limit her appearances to only a couple of times a week, LOL.

I was hunting for different petal shapes and colors and this is what I came up with from my walk in the park (that's why my old back feels sore now). Isn't nature fabulous?

But my photo for today's word has to be the one below. These are one of the seldon flowers growing in our garden, mainly because they are very forgiving and grow year after year, whatever care we have time to offer. They are called bleeding hearts:

That petals can grow into such a beautiful shape is a wonder to me.

Take care everybody, xxx

If these beautiful flowers come back year after year with minimal effort then I need some - they are lovely.

Absolutely beautiful- I think I must buy some of these. Unfortunately most of my plants have to be able to fend for themselves!
