Little monster . . .

Today's walk was much nicer as the park was back to normal. It was such a chaos yesterday, with some dogs running after the runners (just for fun), some dogs running away as they thought the runners were chasing them . . . and in the middle of that, the masters trying to get their dogs back in an orderly manner.

There is a small tree growing under the protection of this big pine tree and he is doing really well.

Project 365+1 - Day 113 : Symbolic

I found this definition in Google.

Symbolic : Significant purely in terms of what is being represented or implied: "an important symbolic gesture".

Between us and the park, there is a road. It's a small one but there are still cars so the girls are not allowed to cross it by themselves and just in case there would be tempation with a cat on the other side, there is a spot close to the end of the park, below a small hill that we defined as " wait here " in case they would be ahead of us on our way back.

I told you about Rhea being strong-minded (to say the least) and very disobedient. That doesn't mean from far that she is stupid, quite the opposite. She loves making statements, just for the principle.

Today, I can show you one of them.

On the photo, Bubbles is waiting by the right spot. Rhea is waiting before the spot. It's not much, just a couple of meters, she is still far away from the road so it isn't dangerous, it is just not what we ask her to do.

I can't go into her head, but I bet anything that these couple of meters are symbolic to her that she can do what she wants. She perfectly knows it's not the waiting point, because if I say " Rhea " with an upset voice, she will get up and go sit close to Bubbles immediately.

Little monster . .  but I love her so much and she knows that !

Take care everybody, xxx

It's good to see your dogs are such individual characters.

love this. They really do have their own characters and no matter how much you think you are in charge, they like to let you know that it is only with their permission!
