Even with small or no legs a bug can catch up with you !

Last night we had a big tempest and a massive downpour. It was so violent it woke us up. This morning it is all miserable and I doubt we will go to the park soon especially as the bug seems to have caught up with me now.

Lynne you have an excellent memory, yes it was until yesterday that the work load was supposed to be extreme so I get a couple of days of calm now. As well so I can try and chase the bug away !

Project 365+1 - Day 109 : Entrance

Google definition says : " An opening, such as a door, passage, or gate, that allows access to a place. "

A couple of years ago I painted this as my interpretation of a secret garden. There is a big double wooden door to enter, so that will be my picture for today.

Sorry the picture isn't too good. I find it extremely difficult to take pictures of glass frames.

When I was little, if I was sick my mum used to install me on 2 armchairs facing each other, she laid a thick blanket on me and I was watching cartoons on TV, drinking hot chocolate and eating buttered baguettes.

I must say my memories of me being sick are mostly very pleasant and though it was so many decades ago, I still remember this ritual each time I don't feel too well.

Well instead I will wrap myself in a blanket, have a hot soup and try to find some soothing TV program to watch. DH left this morning and travels until tomorrow so the girls will certainly come and cuddle with me on the sofa.

Take care everybody, xxx

It's strange I remember being ill with nostalgia as well. I was always made to stay in bed but loved being looked after.
Hope you feel better soon and the girls give you lots of cuddles.
