One thing is sure, in my life I never have time to get bored., lol I picked up Bubbles at 5 last night and she has some liver problems. It still works but behaves as if under attack so most of the values were 7 to 8 times higher than the maximum.
The Vet said she has the symptoms of a dog who would be on high doses of steroid medication, although she isn't on any. There is something that can happen in the brain,
I forgot the name, where the brain gets a wrong signal and starts overproducing steroids in big quantities and the symptoms would be fitting with what she has, drinking a lot, always hungry and nauseous at times.
Good news is it's not something that can't be treated. Bad news is that
she need to go back for a day again tomorrow to test her on that. She gets so nervous and upset about it. I know she doesn't know it, but additionally tomorrow is her birthday, poor thing. We will have to celebrate on Saturday with some special food and a little gift.
As of my Dad, when we saw the cardiologist and he released him from hospital, he said that he needed to be careful about thyroid values and do regular blood tests. He had one 2 days ago and all the values have gone bonkers already in not quite 3 weeks of taking the new medicine. It's so frustrating that with most meds you repair one problem and at the same time you create one or two others.
We all thought it would be better to continue with the heart meds because they work and treat him for thyroid issues, but we are obviously no doctors. They are visiting the cardiologist today ( I mean the real one, the professor they see only once a year ) to see what he will say.
Weather is annoying, not too cold but wet, so we had to go out in the rain again.
We are getting a new bridge. Although we are a small community and there are still another 2 small bridges to cross the river, a bit farer away, the closure of this bridge is disturbing the habits of plenty of people.
It's the one we normally take with Rhea and yesterday she was pulling to go that way, as if I would have forgotten our routine.
Project 365+1 - Day 285 : Distant
Well this little white spot you see in the middle of the photo is the car of the guys rebuilding the bridge.
Take care everybody, xxx
