Rain : Chapter 2

Yesterday was such a strange day. After all that rain and tempest during the night, the day was really pleasant. I went out with the girls and again in the afternoon. But around 4:45pm, as expected, we did have a rain Chapter 2 in the form of a big Thunderstorm, big noise, big lightnings and pouring down of rain. I don't remember in 12 years in England having been so worried that the rain could break the windows or the conservatory roof. 

Bubbles was upset because she wanted to go out and bark at the storm as she does for fireworks, Rhea was upset because she was scared so I had to go to plan B, put MTV hits pretty loud to cover the noise and prepare their diner quickly.

I wanted to go to bed earlier, I didn't really manage as it was past midnight but I achieved what was on my list so I was pleased.

This morning it was half sunny half cloudy and it was obvious it had rained a lot again during the night.

We went to the park, very strange day again.

Yesterday the river went over the bridge and left plenty of small branches.

Because I worked so much on Wednesday, the last time I vacuum cleaned the house was Tuesday afternoon. I did it again this morning, so just 36 hours. On the top is what my living room carpet looks like after 36 hours. There is a path I cleaned in the middle, so you can see the normal color, then there is what the vacuum cleaner collected, not in the house, in the living room alone and on the right, they are ready to start again.

They are moulting so severely at this time of the year, I wonder how they aren't bald. Experts tell to brush them often, I can't brush them twice a day, LOL.


Project 365+1 - Day 292 : Public Transport 

I hadn't a clue what to do because close to where I live there is nothing as such and I surely didn't fancy driving around with all this flooding. I also had a thought for Janice, as according to where she lives, she might be in an even bigger dilemma than I was. Then I got an idea and it might be what she also will have to turn to.

Look how spotless the sky was, it is all grey now and we are waiting for rain again ! A very strange day indeed !
