Strange day

Today is a horrible day, we woke up under rain and it stayed with us so long that I had to bring Dennis to the station without even having taken the girls out. I popped in at Asda as I wanted to refill on Spicy Parsnip soup. I have it everyday for lunch and it's part of my routine. They were out of stock, so I drove to Sainsbury's, but they were also out of stock.
I got extremely upset and was on the verge of crying. It made me realize that when I am fragile emotionally, the smallest things can throw me out of balance very quickly, even a soup.

Well I couldn't record my lesson as we are October 1st and LSNED just finished but I made a mental note to stop being so upset about small things.

When I came back home, I took both girls out at the same time because it had just stopped raining. I didn't think it would last long and it didn't, but at least both of them got some fresh air.

Project 365+1 - Day 275 : Wall

In 1989, the Berlin wall was dismantled and I was in Germany when it happened. This is a part of the wall I took with me, so I never forget.

LSNED 2012

I can't believe it's already October and the class finished yesterday. These are my final pages :

Day 29 : New Skill Saturday

Day 30 : Looking back on September

Last year I had a difficult LSNED class, because I just had my accident, then there was the passing away of the little Isi, it was all extremely emotional. So this year I was looking forward to have a "normal" class, well I didn't either. I got a lot of worry with Rhea, Dennis was constantly traveling, Murphy was always on my back, my Dad went to hospital and we flew down to visit him although I am so scared of flying . . . So no, it wasn't a quiet September but it gave me the opportunity to realize that we need to embrace what comes our way as it's all part of life.

I do hope you feel more settled soon Anne, it can be so tiring, constant little bug-bears, even when you know they are there and you are trying to react positively. K xx

A piece of the berlin wall, how great to hold a piece of history as solid as that. I know what you mean about being fragile when little things get you down. Maybe it's good to have little reminders not to expect too much of yourself at the moment but to give yourself space.

Hi Anne! I'm surprised - I do not comment here?
I saw and read this post - I'm sure! I even know exactly what I wanted to write ... But now - I'm a little confused ..
I saw your comment in 365 +1 - I was sure it would be a picture from Berlin. But you will have stone from the wall - it's amazing and unexpected! I agree with Helen and Viv -
"Well done on finishing LSNED, and Wow! - a piece of the Berlin wall - that is a moment of history never to be forgotten."
