Today the girls must have thought that me getting up yesterday at 9am was enough, so they got me out of bed. I really could have slept longer and I fell like it was the middle of the night. Although it was already almost 8, this is what I caught from my window.
It is indeed a beautiful day, but the park was bitter bitter cold. I had a scarf and gloves but it was the kind of day where you don't want to stare at things for too long or you risk being transformed into a block of ice.
We had a nice round, Rhea is in incredible shape, happy to walk around, at least there is always one out of 2 to bring my mood up.
Dennis is in Rome, on a plane to bring him back home. Thanks God he didn't miss the connecting flight as he did on the way out !
Tonight being the change of summer time surely fits the weather. I was hoping it would rain though as Halloween fireworks will start this week-end. The more rain, the less fireworks, the calmer Rhea is and the more sleep we get, but it doesn't look it will be that way.
On the top of it we always manage to have 2 weeks of them with Guy Fawkes following Halloween and all kids too happy to have an excuse to rush to the park at night and make some noise.
I always adored fireworks ( and I still do ), I just have seen in between what it can do to animals.
Project 365+1 - Day 301 - Crooked
I had to double-check that word as I immediately thought about Captain Crook and wondered if it came from that. It looks like it does.
Crooked also means set at an angle, not straight what was much easier for me as I didn't know exactly where my pirate costume was, lol.
I made that painting long time ago, I was still living in Germany and it came with the move. We decided to put it in the conservatory but it keeps on moving to a side. Problem is it's so high that we need a ladder to put it back straight each time, so we just decided it will hang the way it decided to.
Take care everybody, xxx

I really wish the pets could tell what day of the week it was and sleep in on the weekends!

I love that philosphy on picture hanging!!!!
I am dreading the fireworks- we've had a few days of it already with Eid celebrations- and Holly gets in a whirl not knowing what to do with herself. Last night she was under the dining room table. We let her go upstairs to the front of the house- so she felt like she was far enough away from the noise. She was really bouncy then- because she's not normally allowed upstairs. I've seen a thunderjacket I might order her today- she likes a tight tshirt on when it's noisy and a friend recommended something like rescue remedy for dogs. Around here they will go on sporadically until the New year now.
looks like a beautiful day, just like ours ended...shame about the cold and our snowy start.... Love the crooked picture :)
Oh Anne I couldn't live with that picture crooked LOL!!
