Firstly thank you so much for all your birthday wishes. I told my parents they came from as far as Bulgaria ( thank you Borqna ) and Qatar ( thank you Jidhu Jose ) and they were impressed !
My day didn't start too well. Up at 6:00 because Rhea wanted to go to the garden but then Hubby went out and brought back all needed to prepare a lovely French breakfast and that was great.
I went to the park with both girls, but Rhea didn't fancy walking. I just had time to catch a picture of her :
So again I brought her back home and went alone with Bubbles. Then it was destination Vet. They think that additionally to what she has, she caught a bug in the park as many dogs are currently sick, so she got another shot and some antibiotics and is still on a gentle stomach food so she can keep it.
Next Friday she will need another blood text and depending on the results, they might X-ray her knies and hips to try and understand why she suddenly doesn't want to walk anymore.
Back home, it was presents' time.
If you remember a while ago I got a lucky at the lottery and some scratch cards, I had a bit of money aside and additionally my parents gave me some money for my birthday so I bought that:
A digital Canon camera that will accept my " old " macro lenses.
Then it was time for the kids presents. I got an additional battery for my camera, a case for my Ipod and a special strap to hold my new camera. Even after 10 years, the kids are still a bit " touch-shy " ( long story ) but they know I can't say thank you without kissing so we all laughed when DH took these pictures .
Then it was time for Hubby's present and I used the i-phone app recommended by Sian then Jen ( Half tone ) to make a small comics.
Hubby offered me an I-Mac. My current Laptop was slowly diying but I never would have imagined getting an I-Mac. At the same time I got the book " I-Mac for Dummies ". It was a good idea because after switching it on by pushing a button, I didn't know how to switch it off. Mac seems very different from Windows but I must say I very much liked the little I saw so far. Now I will have to read the book !
Project 365+1 - Day 155 : Gates
I knew this morning that I would have difficulties to find some gates during the day so when I was at the Vet this morning, I took a picture of the back gates.
Take care everybody, xxx
