Well, you add some wind to yesterday's rainy weather and you get today !
We went to the park with not a lot of enthousiasm from Rhea but when I proposed she stays home she didn't want either. So she chose to tag along but in the end she did enjoy it.
The skies were gorgeous again
We met one of Rhea's friends. She likes small doggies whereas Bubbles is more into challenges and likes other Retrievers or Labradors who can run after her.
So we met this little doggie called Roger ( ! ? ! ) . They had a small play, then Rhea needed a bit of a rest, but she was happy.
Roger came to say hello to me too and he was looking at me with such an intensive beautiful look that I thought I need to take a picture, so I took my camera out.
Baaaaad move. I don't know why most pets do that. They look at you in the most amazing way but as soon as they see a camera, they just look away and you can't get your picture.
By the way, it reminds me of something. When I lived in Taiwan in 1997, I was there during the Lanterns Festival. There was a procession at night and a work collegue proposed to go there with me. When we arrived it was fantastic, very colorful, kind of magical atmosphere with all these people, including little kids carrying a lantern with a candle inside. When I tried to take my 1st picture, my camera just went dead and it quickly became obvious that I wouldn't be able to take any picture of the event. I was obviously upset but he told me something beautiful.
He said : " You don't need taking pictures. Your memories will be pictures in your heart. "
WOW !!! So each time I miss a picture, it's what I am telling myself !
To go back to Roger, he was no exception when he saw my camera and I couldn't get him to look at him again.
When some raindrops started, we made our way back home.
Since she is a puppy, Bubbles makes a point of heading the way right back to the house
( in case I would forget where I live ). She is also always first in line to enter by kind of blocking the door so I even have to squeeze around to put the keys in.
Jen asked yesterday if I started taking photos with my new camera. I am afraid not. I am doing a course on Objective C ( I decided to learn how to write apps ) so it takes a mountain of my time. No more anything else, even no more crafting. Just making the time for our photography project !
Project 365+1 - Day 174 : Sunshine
My Yee Haw title is for the return of the daily word. It must be like a drug but having to discover a new word every morning truly makes my day and I missed it so much in the past week ! Suzie, you better start planning 2013 . . .
Today the sunshine was doing like the doggies. As soon as I was getting ready to take a picture, it was hiding away behind a cloud. So after playing hide and seek for a while,
I decided to turn my back on him so he cannot see me and wait. It was a good strategy because when he went out next time, he wasn't able to see I had my camera ready and I could take this picture, LOL
There is Rhea lying down on the left, Bubbles sitting on the right and me in the middle
( obviously ! ).
This picture made me aware of something : If you think you need to shed a stone or two, just take a picture of our shadow. You will look like you need to shed 4 stones and when you will look at yourself in the mirror again, you will feel sooooo much better with your silhouette . . . That worked for me !
Take care everybody, xxx

I like your shadow trick! It's so wet here that when I took my son out for a driving lesson we decided to come back very quickly indeed. Too many puddles!
Roger might not have wanted to look at you but they are really cute pictures.
OMG I WANT ROGER!!!!! :D
Great idea, my clouds and sunshine were also playing hide and seek today!
Love that little dog Roger, he is cute!!
Anne, again we see a great photo! Excellent idea! What an interesting way to show the strength / intensity of sunlight!
I loved and that you are not alone in the picture. These shades make your project very enigmatic!
Bravo!

Ahh a traditional blog post from Anne, all is right with the world :)
