Last night I had my 1st Skype session wit Hubby from my new i-Mac. Only one word; WOW !
It was really nice visual quality and sound.
This morning that was the forecast outside;
and that was the reality inside my living room:
Just above 15 degrees on June 12th ! Can you believe that ? ? ? I decided there is no way I make Southern Electric rich middle of June, so no heating but plenty of jumpers.
It has been raining without interruption for 18 hours and the garden changed over night. These kind of creepers weren't that long yesterday.
They are something like 1 meter longer and that freaked me out. Is it from there that the word " Creepy " comes from ?
The lying chairs we had repaired for my parents haven't been used since they left.
Have you heard about the Anne's sensor ? Some of you might have one in your house, but under a different name. Mine is located outside my front door ( I think ) and as soon as I open the front door, step out and close the door, the Anne's sensor sends a message to heaven that it's time to pour down. Do you have one like this ? Fun hey ?
Well, my sensor has been working extremely well lately and this morning was no exception. It wasn't raining, I looked and looked and then said to the girls, let's go.
Then . . . Rain !
In the end, it didn't really matter because Rhea had an extremely good spirit and it lifted mine. I knew she was doing well because she totally ignored me for the duration of the walk. We did probably 2/3 of a normal walk, so I was really pleased. She was walking in front with Bubbles, even going up hills. Thanks God these meds seem to help her.
As of our little stream, here it goes again, 10 times its normal size !
Project 365+1 - Day 164 : Antique
When I was 6 or 7, I used to admire a mini purse my grandmother had. It was made of silver, kind of knitted like the armors the Knights wear ( or wore ). She was born in 1900 and she had it for very long so I think it can be classed as Antique. As a little girl,
I thought it was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. When my grandmother passed away in 1987 I had forgotten all about the little purse long ago.
When I got married, her daughter ( my mum's sister ) offered me the same little purse.
I wish I would have asked at that time if it was my grandmother's one, what I think it was, but I didn't ask. It was presented in a nice box. I took it out to have a look but didn't touch it too much as I am kind of allergic to silver. It is even more precious to me now as my auntie in between also passed
away.
It's probably the only thing in this house that could fit
today's word so I decided to take a picture of it.
I took it out of the box and tried to arrange it nicely. I then had a
wonderful and emotional surprise because I felt something inside. It
took it out and it was a coin : a 20 Swiss Franks coin from 1927.
During my 10 years of mariage, I opened the box several times to look at the little purse but there was no reason for me to take it out.
Without today's word, I probably wouldn't have found this coin ever so I am extremely grateful. It's a beautiful sign of fate and I want to believe that our departed loved ones still find a way to send us a wink now and then, so thank you to you both for popping in, I miss you ! xxx
Take care everybody, xxx

We have a belief-always in a purse must have money. It must not be empty! When giving the gift wallet or purse - always put the coin inside! And the man will always have money!
Me again -

I'm just kidding.
