HAPPY NEW YEAR . . .

Yes, wishes for you all to have a beautiful year ahead of you.

We had a quiet New Year's Eve with the dogs, watching an entertaining French program on TV5 Monde.

New year surprised us with a beautiful blue sky and some sunshine. The park was still drenched and the girls came back completely black but it became better during the day. For the 1st time in a very long time, I even managed to take Bubbles out this afternoon to play some ball ( she couldn't believe her ears when I proposed to go ) while Dennis was playing with Rhea inside.

It was 3:15, already a bit dark, but look at this blue sky !

When the challenge 365+1 finished yesterday, it left me with quite a bit of melancholia but hopefully, we started right away with Lucky Snapping !  I am also considering taking part in another one photo a day from Australia. Have a look HERE but I wonder if it won't be too much, especially with my hosting each month's week 2 on Lucky Snapping.

The view Challenge ( hosted by Jen ) : January - The photo

This challenge is to decide on a view and take a photo of it each month. Over the year we will then have 12 photos reflecting the changes in the seasons.

As I kind of did that for myself last year, I wasn't sure what to take.

Dennis suggested this:

but I think more and more that it looks a bit too much like what I did last year, so I guess it will be this other one as the weeping willow will go through dramatic changes during the year.

Tomorrow we will get sketches and layouts inspirations. Yeah ! It's so good to start the year with the same group again !

Take care everybody, xxx

I'm really looking forward to something a little bit different this year. It will be interesting working through all the different themes and ideas.

lovely view and the picture of bubbles is great. It was so nice to see blue sky today- even if it was cold.
