Last night I talked to my dad and we ended up having a great chat. He was saying that when they go out for a walk ( there are still in Marseille ), the problem is that there aren't many benches to have a rest and the ones there, are normally already taken. I told him that surely people could see they are old and would let them sit if they were coming closer. His answer was that they are all old people and competing for the benches ( Ouch, think before you talk, Anne !).
So I advised him when they come close to a bench to start coughing as if they would have both the plague and bird flu so people would go away and they could sit. And probably having done that once, they wouldn't have to do again because as soon as people would see them, they would get up and go away ( Pavlov's dog ). He started laughing so much that he was almost crying and it was so good to hear him that way. I am not sure if they will try my trick, though !
Today is 9/11. It is said everybody can remember where they were when it happened.
Yes, I also can. Already 11 years and I still can't make any sense of it. A loving thought for the victims and families. I didn't lose anybody but it still saddens me so much.xxx
Today's weather started as threatening and I needed a jumper
but in the end it developed into something really nice.
Bubbles and I had a great walk and then I took Rhea out. We only had gone out in the morning yesterday as it was raining too much after that, so she was well rested and in good spirit.
I let her off lead and she went to say hello to 2 very old dogs ( these are the ones I target now as I am sure they won't be bossy with her ) and then we went our way. She was ( kind of ) galloping in the grass, smelling the air. . . She runs like a robot whose screws wouldn't be completely tight, poor thing, but she was really happy and it was beautiful to see. I know she shouldn't do that as she could have a problem with her hip again, but I really need to let her do a bit and only stop her when it becomes too much.
She did stop to have a rest, but you can see on her body language, she is feeling good with herself, bless her !
Project 365+1 - Day 255 : Hair
I can't find the post but I'm pretty sure you've seen my hair already. I could have taken a picture of all the hair left on the carpets by the girls, but I opted for the hair still on them.
Bubbles has gorgeous hair, color and texture, especially on her ears.
LSNED - Day 10 : Me and lists ( or Lists and I ? ? ? )
That was a good one, because the word list was invented for me, lol.
As of the " I love making lists because ": You remember my Taiwanese Boss ? He once told me I was the type to make lists. I didn't comment because I thought he knew how I work and it was pretty obvious I was making a lot of lists.
But he told me something else, that I didn't comment either, but bit my tongue on: He said I was also the type to add to my list something I had just done that wasn't on my list, just for the pleasure to cross it off the list. Not fair when people know you that well, lol !
Take care everybody, xxx

Oh yes, I will add a done item to the list for the pleasure of getting one done to tick off straight away.
And there is no way you have been on this planet for 56 years!!!!! No way.
Glad Rhea had a good walk and Bubbles' hair is gorgeous. xxx
I love your post today. I like your list - and in content and design. / Yes, Borqna may have already read! Ha ha /
I write sheet completed tasks - only numbers - the computer gives the contents. But this is called daily, not a list. Right? Why I am starting to like your Taiwanese boss?
Again great hits on the topic. BRAVO!
I will add - There is also not enough benches.
Anne I am a list maker and Peter def isn't so chalk and cheese!
In fact I Love lists like Jennie and have pure enjoyment crossing off what has been done.
Bless your Dad and his and your thoughts on sitting on a bench LOL!!
Your journalling amuses me and is also thought provoking too!
We have cat hair all over our curtains. Glad that you had a good conversation with your Dad.
beautiful hair.
I can't function without lists. If I don't make one I forget something important.
I'm so glad that Rhea enjoyed her trip to the park she looks so happy.
