Sunny day

Last night I was reading comments on my post and Lynne was saying " I am such a non routine person. . .  ". That's the funny thing, because I am not either, I hated routine all my life as it is so boring.
Unfortunately since that fall a year ago, a lot of things changed and I haven't managed to repair them all, although trying really hard as it's very difficult to live with someone inside yourself who isn't exactly you.

After the fall, I had these series of panic attacks, anger burst, flowing emotions, I was a mess and if you remember it took 4 months of PTSD therapy to bring me back on my feet. Things are 95% back the way they were before, but there is something that's not back ( and I want to hopefully say NOT YET ), it's coping this stress.

I have never been the type who can relax as long as there are still things to do on the list, so I do them and then I stop. Problem is the list is very long some days and days only have 24 hours ( as far as I know ).

I always cope coped with anything and now if I don't have a routine to rely on, it's very difficult. It's like the routine itself would have become my life buoy and I do hate that routine, but I need it. Although I start thinking I believe I need it but I don't. Problem is life goes on and you can't just press pause and take all the time in the world to sort things out. So I try to sort things out in parallel of thousands of other things and It takes really long.

This morning I should have gone out with the dogs at 9, but I had a coffee on the sofa with Dennis and we started chatting and when I wanted to go Sophie came, then David and before long we were all chatting about vanity in men and women.

Then I surely should have gone out with the girls but I decided to have breakfast with them what I normally never do on a Sunday. I did have a nice time. I then took Bubbles out, though it was already a bit too hot.

The patch of grass in the front is getting more and more yellow. Autumn is surely on its way. It's even more obvious on this photo here :

This always reminds me of South of France, in summer, by the sea.

Project 365+1 - Day 253 : Feet

Dennis and Rhea. The angle of photo is a bit weird, but having Rhea not moving for 2 seconds isn't a piece of cake, so that will have to do for today.

LSNED 2012 :

Already in catch up mode, lol.

Day 7 : In between time

In between time is my specialty. I go upstairs to get my coffee cup and I come back downstairs half an hour later having done something completely different, most of the time useful, but without my coffee cup.

I go upstairs again to get my coffee cup and I come back downstairs half an hour later having done something completely different, most of the time useful, but without my coffee cup.

So I go upstairs to get . . .

I think it's very much related to the topic in day 8 as I do too many things at the same time and I really get out of focus.

Day 8 : New Skill Saturday

I have some good qualities ( yes, I really do ) but a lot of them turn out to be my worse enemies.

I am very hard working and it turns out I don't know how to relax.

I always push myself but I am my worst critic.

I'm not a quitter so I often work until I can't stand anymore.

The past days have been a living example of that and I really need to do something about it.

Take care everybody, xxx

Anne we are so alike and yet completely different too, How can I explain, I too go upstairs and come back...often hours later LOL or go upstairs and forget what I am upstairs for! I want to get things done if I need to BUT I can also let things go and be very manyana, there is always tomorrow.

So glad you relaxed out of your routine this am and enjoyed time with the kids and Dennis.
Great feet they both have LOL!!!

lol remember that post back in january about my housework adhd? well, its not gotten any better despite my lists/time tables etc.. i never connected it to the ptsd though.. and you already know that im worse for "letting go" and the "r word" is a downright swear word in my eyes.. far too vulnerable when one does that.
love your entries for the LSNED it will be a gorgeous box filled with gorgeous thoughts when its finished!

I too spend a great deal of my time going upstairs for something, end up doing something else and come down without I went up for. I also don't have a routine since I stopped going out to work and I'm really happy to do things when I feel like it and if I don't I leave it until tomorrow.
Manyana, so reminds me of my mum, she used to say she was a manyana woman and I am so like her.

Great feet! I think it is good to have a routine running in the background and know that you can break it if you want to.

I went to sort the kids once and came back to find the kitchen flooded because I had left the tap on?! My brother guessed correctly that I was pregnant and forgetful! Not sure what my excuse is now.. ! Love the feet.. x

I love routine, love to break it too :)

I love the feet and staying home longer than you should have.

Good luck with the lessons, there's something there for me there too xxx
