A dog's life . . .

Today the thermometer showed 0 degres again. It was a bit sunny but it is getting all overcast now. We are expecting snow, let's see if they get it right this time !

Since I started this photo challenge, I also improved my English as I googlecheck a lot on ortaugrafe (just kidding) and expressions.

As I had a break for lunch, I was watching my 2 dogs and thinking about the expression "It's a dog's life" . I thought I understand the meaning but I checked just in case

" something that you do or say which means that life is hard and unpleasant"

AH! Just what I thought !

I couldn't resist to take a picture. Look at these two and tell me if they are not the exception to the rule !

No work to do, nice walks, good food, toys everywhere, private insurance, warm house, as much sleep as needed . . .

If I reincarnate into an animal, I want to be a dog (in a family like ours, of course !)

Project 365+1 - Day 40: Compact

By the way, regarding some comments I got on my photo yesterday, I had the impression some of you thought it was MY fence? I wish . . .  No, no, no I called it my fence, because it was MY picture of the day, but it's a picture I took in the park !

My photo of today was also taken in the park. This funny tree is growing from outside back into inside the ground. Compact? Yes, pretty much !

When I saw it 10 years ago I though it was dead, but no, it is very well alive and in good shape.

Take care everybody, xxx

That reminds me of a tree in one of our local parks that had exposed roots and had fallen into the lake. I thought it was dead- but it was in full leaf in the summer.

Your dogs look so lovely and comfy!
