This morning, the temperature in Eastleigh was:
Much better than yesterday but pretty windy, so still feeling very cold.
I was quite disappointed though as I was sure it would snow during the night and I even had bet with hubby, but it didn't snow. The loser would have to prepare lunch, I had a lucky escape as I had a pizza in the freezer !
Project 365+1 - Day 36: Rubbish
That word inspired me because the plan this morning was to go to a carboot sale with a friend and if you can't find some rubbish there, then it's not a carboot sale.
It was an indoors one, so we didn't quite freeze to death. A lot of sellers had cancelled as they also thought it would be snowing and the roads would be a mess, but still, it was fun to have a look around. As we were passing by a table, I said to my friend "Wait, I've got the perfect set for my picture".
I was trying to get several shots when the lady asked my friend what I was doing. Yes, logical question as who on earth would take a picture of that stuff. . .
My friend started explaining about Project 365+1 and I was wondering if she was going to lie or tell the truth about the word. As it wasn't fair, I went to her rescue and said "You know, today I need to take a picture of little funny things around". The lady was very pleased we chose her table and we went away absolutely shameless, with a couple of pictures in the camera.
So next time somebody asks you what rubbish means, you can get away with "Little funny things around".

lol if today doesnt get any better, ill have my happy thought entry right here :D i love it.. i think i would have been tempted to let your friend carry on and see if shed have had the guts to say "actually, today's word is RUBBISH" ... i actually have a good idea for today's photo... so ill take a break in a mo and get it sorted and uploaded.
