I woke up at 4 am with a terrible headache, I guess it's because the weather is changing again. I am used to getting a lot of headaches and with the years, I have found meds that heal migraine on the left, headache on the top of the head and headache on the back of the head. The only thing that I keep until bed time when I get it is a migraine on the right side.
But although I can stop 3 out of 4, the meds only work when the pain is in a clear position, so if it is rotating, I have to wait it lands somewhere. Today it only landed at 1pm by deciding it was a left migraine. So I took my meds and thanks God it's almost gone now.
I am a poor gardener . . . rewind . . . I am a good gardener who has no time at all for gardening so my garden looks terrible. However these flowers keep on growing by themselves year after year.
They don't ask me anything in return and I love them double for that.
In the park, I came across that funny tree again, the one with the funny soft little brushes.I haven't got a clue how it is called so sorry for the " this and that things" descriptions. After a while I managed to understand all the phases (and it must have been quite a while because the dogs eventually laid down and almost fell asleep).
So what happens is :
Top left: There is a bud ( ? ).
Top right: The bug opens, slowly releasing the funny brush.
Down left: When the funny brush is released, it is middle grey.
Down right: When the brush is older, it takes this beautiful immaculate white color. You can see 2 different stages here.
How long it takes, I don't know, I will have to go and make a mark on a branch in order to check back day after day.
Project 365+1 - Day 62: Comfort
There is this gameshow on TV where you see 2 married people asked the same question about a subject and they obviously have to try and get the same answer.
If DH and I went to such a show (what would never happen in a million years), there is at least one question that we could answer blindly : What is the most uncomfortable thing in your house ? And the answer would be : our Sofa.
It's not really the financial moment to change it but it is a plain disaster (although our 4 paws family members seem to disagree).
So that would have been a good example for " Comfort-NOT " but I thought it would be cheating, so I got another idea.
Both dogs have a different food (one adult and one senior) and to save some money, I buy 15 kilos bags of each. A couple of days ago I found a company on Internet that not only is cheaper but also delivers it to my door free of charge, so I decided to have a go and buy. They emailed me they would deliver today so I just had to check for the arrival of the van !
No more broken back to put the food in my car, no more spending petrol to go to the Pet shop, that's is comfort, isn't it?
Take care everybody, xxx

I love the 'nature' photos today- The emerging buds are fascinating.
Well done on finding a great site for the dog food- I like to shop online if I have to get all the heavy things at the same time.
The dogs look so comfy on the sofa.
love your photos. I know i'm a pain sorry but how do you do the collage (sp ?)photo
The tree is the pussybwillow I think and the furry bits are called catkins.. have a look on wiki.. at least that's what I think... love your daily chat x
The only way I can cope with migraine is to have a very hot water bottle to put on the area that is painful. This can involve some juggling as I can't bear to lie down, I have to sit upright!
I agree with Kathijo, your twigs are one of the "pussy" willow family.
Lovely blog post with great photos. It was all so natural. I love the doggy comfort photo.
Love that tree :)
