Getting older ? Aarrgghh . . .

Not a very long post today, I managed to slightly twist my back. I was upstairs when I heard that the boiler maintenance guy was ready to go.
I got up a bit too quickly and ouch . . . It's not too bad but I kind of do things slowly before I get into real trouble !

This morning was another " almost summer " day. It is getting pretty warm and the park looks great.

These pine needles remind me home.

Marseille is surrounded by pine trees. They smell really good (much better than here) and in summer hundreds of cicadas cover them and make this very typical noise you can hear in south of France, when you are close to the sea, on a lying chair, slowly drinking a cold Pastis  . . .

Just being carried away . . .

Unfortunately the weather is so dry in Marseille that these pine needles help to spread fire.

I was surprised that these ones are also very dry. Could it be possible that we are really missing water ?

The girls also find it hot and if it goes on that way, I will have to take them earlier in the morning and later at night. Bubbles had a play with her friends and then decided she needed a little break to get her breath back.

 Project 365+1 - Day 84 : Bedtime

Today is the kids week-end so I thought I would show the clothes each of us go to bed with, but some of the family members reminded me that my birthday is not too too far away and it would be a pity they happen to unintentionally forget it . . .  So I obviously had to give in.

Change of plan. Here we are, featuring Sophie again, this is her bed.

Like penguins, Sponge Bob is part of our daily life and of course part of bedtime routine !
