We are as young as we feel . . .

Last night we had tickets to see Street Dance 2 so it was an occasion to have a break from work. When we arrived we first thought we were in the wrong queue because the age average seem to be 15 at most, but no we were in the right place. We just happened to be part of the dozen of adults around all these kids and we were looking at each other with the same relief as Robinson Crusoe when he found Friday !

DH didn't like it so much. On my side the street dance was OK but I really loved the salsa part. I always adored South American dances.

This morning it was up at 6 am for everybody and we started working. I was preparing small switches whilst DH was fixing them on the EEGs he had repaired.

Then it was time for Rhea's swimming so Bubbles and I went to the park. It was a grey morning, not very nice at all.

Bubbles is a very curious dog and each time she meets a new animal, it's fascinating. A couple of years ago she saw a cow. It was the biggest animal she had ever seen and everybody was laughing on the floor by the look on her face when the cow starting walking around.

This morning, we met some ducks and that was a first:

Bubbles knows small birds and pigeons from our garden and she can spend hours looking at them, but she hadn't met swimming ducks yet. She was so interested she almost fell in the river because she was watching them and not where she was walking, but the ducks didn't find it very cool and didn't stay long enough to establish a friendship.

Project 365+1 - Day 80 : Quiet

When Rhea was 6 months old, she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia what is basically is an abnormal formation of the hip socket. She has been doing hydrotherapy since and it helps her a lot.

Although she adores going to the pool (both do actually), swimming for half an hour even with a break in between is very tiring, so when she comes back, I am assured to have an extremely quiet afternoon.

Today was no exception. She asked for a cuddle and spent some time daydreaming and dozing
on my knees.

The picture isn't very good as I was playing contortionist to take it, but it reflects so well the sense of peace and quiet for us both in this moment.

Take care everybody,
