What is going on with the weather?

With all this sunny-cloudy-sunny-cloudy . . . my headache came back this morning and it wasn't the right ingredient for a good mood. In fact it all started going wrong and it soon looked like a day I better should have spent in bed.

We got Rhea when she was 8 and 1/2 weeks and still at such an early age we believe she was mistreated. As soon as we took her home, she couldn't stand any noise or me using a broom and it took her a along time before she could trust us, She grew up " OK " but she is still scared of her own shadow. When I am sad, she will be really helpful and kind and cuddly but if I tense up, she will tense up too and then it becomes Titan's clash. Today was one of these days.

We went to the park, it was all wet and squashy, with my poundind head I didn't have a lot of patience, she didn't want to walk with us and constantly stayed back so I put her on lead. Then of course, she started pulling . . . What was supposed to make fun didn't at all.

There were no nice pictures for the red whale to take or may be being upset I couldn't look properly.

I then decided to go and take a picture of a beautiful tree 300 meters down. It took us 10 minutes to go there because Rhea didn't want to go. Then I took my picture that looks terrible.

Then I wanted to take a macro of some flowers but there was so much wind, all I got was blurred. So I took a picture of a flower that had fallen on the floor and it doesn't look good either.

So I decided to go back home.  By then it was sunny and warm, so I thought a coffee in the garden would do me really good. I gave their biscuit to the dogs, changed into a T-shirt and prepared a coffee. By the time I had the mug in my hand and sat in the garden, the sun was gone, the wind back and it was cold.

Anyway, there are days where things go wrong and we better accept them. If not we couldn't make a difference with when days go right !

Project 365+1 - Day 63: Flat

The day hadn't started so well but that word didn't improve it because for the life of me I couldn't get any idea.

Flat: I live in a house
Flat: I don't have a flat tyre
Flat: Nothing is flat around me excepted my purse and that's not funny.

My musical background saved me as I suddenly thought about Flat and Sharp notes. In music when you compose, you can use "normal notes", Sharps notes and Flat notes.

Normal notes are from A to G (our French Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si). Sharp is when you raise a note by a seminote and Flat is when you lower it by a seminote.

So this is my picture. All the " weird little kind of b's " that you see on the left are flats.

The Clair de Lune by Debussy is in D-Flat Major and it is one of my favorite pieces of music. You might know it was part of the soundtrack of the movie Frankie and Johnny.

In case you never hear about it, you can listen to it by clicking here

Before I go, I would like to wink at whom I call " My favorite Auntie ". She lives in Toulon in the South of France. We are very close and she reads my blog everyday.
However, although being fluent in French and Spanish, English is not her piece of cake so she needs a dictionary and knowing how prolific I can be in the length of my posts, how much slang and abbreviations and grammatical and spelling mistakes there probably are here, it takes her a hell of a time to follow what's going on day after day.
So just wanted to say " Thank you - Love you ! "

Take care everybody, xxx

I hope the sun shines for you tomorrow Anne, and maybe Rhea will be in a more cooperative mood as well.

What a brilliant idea. I've just got in from work - and no idea what I'll take yet.

Holly is also intune with people's moods- infact when Emma is having a tantrum day (she has autism)- Holly is willing to wade in there with a wagging tail and a happy face to lick the blues away.

Hope tomorrow is a great day!

i remember practicing claire de lune ad nauseam.. but it still is one of my favourite pieces too... i tend to prefer melodies with lots of flats!!

i also love the photo of the tree and the flower.. but then im nowhere near as hard on you as you are ;) another trait we have in common.. and if you find a way to shift the headache, let me know cos mine has been sticking around for 2 days too now and im fed up.

happy thoughts and big hugs coming your way xx

Yes, I use music paper for scrapping only *blush* I can't make head nor tail of it. I do enjoy it though and Debussy is lovely.

I'm sorry you didn't have a great day today, I hope tomorrow is better. Jen xx
