Dennis was exercising on the walking machine, watching Winbledon on his laptop
and I was working on my parents's visit scrapbook, also watching on my laptop.
I never liked Murray, I think his attitude is terrible but in case it pleases him LOL he certainly won my respect during and after the Winbledon final.
He really went for it and it was great to see him fight but I think what made me start liking him ( a bit ) was the after match interview, because he showed himself as a normal human being. I am part of women who like " Men who can cry ".
Excepted the tennis highlight it was a sad and boring afternoon weatherwise and I obviously didn't bring the girls to the park :
This morning didn't start too well. After 3 weeks of being home, Dennis needed to travel so we got up at 3am and boy was it difficult. I went back to bed at 4 but couldn't really sleep by more than 10 minutes at a time, so I got up at 9 to feed the girls.
It wasn't raining ( yet ) when we went to the park but Rhea had decided to work against me ( see the challenge below ) so I only could shoot a couple of photos.
A beautiful plant
and a spider I spotted

Then it started raining hard on us so we had to rush back home.
Project 365+1 - Day 191 : Delicate
When I lived in Germany and for a short while when I came to England, I worked for a Taiwanese company and that meant travelling the world in all possible directions and boarding more planes than I can recall.
In 1998 I lived in Taiwan in the HsinChu Science Park for half a year and during that time a plane from China Airlines crashed shortly after taking off from the airport.
It was something many people talked about as it is an extremely busy aiport with load of world wide foreigners coming business meetings. The HsinChu Science Park is where all Computer Networking companies are based and it is a fabulous place a bit like Silicon Valley in the States.
I was talking with my boss about it and telling him that I had safely taken so many planes in my life that I felt my probabilities of being in one that would crash were increasing by the minute. He gave me the Chinese answer : " If it's your time, there is nothing you can do about it and if it is not, you are getting worried for nothing. Things will happen when they have to ! "
After 10 years, I am still in contact with him. He is a fantastic person and he is the one who gave me this passion about Fate and Destiny and my way of looking into things to try and find signs.
I have noticed very often in my life, especially when I am a bit grumpy, that the most beautiful things will happen for no reason. They then cause such a wonderful and moving feeling in me that it almost brings me to tears.
This morning when we went to the park Rhea was a devil. I normally manage pretty well to keep an eye on her ( thanks God that Bubbles is different ) and take photos at the same time, but this morning she had decided to make things difficult so she was constantly disappearing.
Having got up so late, I already knew the word of the day and I wanted to concentrate on some beautiful grass I had seen. The wind kept moving them and you can't do macro when the subject moves ( at least I can't ) so I had to wait a bit for it to go but then Rhea was constantly away so I had to go and look for her.
I was tired due to a bad night and on the top of that it started raining so I thought I had enough and I gave up. Just when I said " let's go back home " we were passing by a big hedge of trees and Rhea managed to be on the other side. I called her and she didn't answer. Why should she, lol ?
So I started crawling below the trees in 80 cms height to reach her on the other side when I saw this little nest on the ground. I had this warmth feeling in me and again I felt the tears getting closer.
It certainly is the most beautiful and delicate thing I could have wished taking a photo of and if Rhea wouldn't have been so naughtly, I never would have found it.
So yes, things do happen for a reason.
Take care everybody, xxx

A beautiful photo- I've never been so close to a birds nest.
Well done on that find!
Glad we were all watching the tennis but I was all out of sorts as it didn't feel like a Sunday!!
I too like men who cry :) Glad you feel better about AM now!! Scots men can be dour!!
A beautiful photo of a bird nest, Anne.
Well how philosophical and how true.
I love the photo of the nest, it is a beautiful thing.
I love the video of the rain, except that it is never-ending of course! xxx
Lovely photo's again.
re your comment yesterday. Not sure that I am over TZ yet. I still have days where I can't cope with the smallest of things and need to retreat into my safe little craft room. England is OK so long as my simple routine isn't interrupted. But it is gets better slowly.
I like that way of thinking, though it must be hard to remember on bad days..often I have those silver lining moments and can be quite overwhelmed when something makes me think of our Mums and past times.. but then I sometimes think its better to feel strong sad feelings than the mundane dry days ..if you get me.. x
PS Love the little nest too.. of course.. there I went again, rambling on..
beautiful photo of the nest, shame you went through what you did to find it....but definately worth it :)
PPS .. oh and I used to feel like that about David Coultard the racing driver, his supercool attitude and everything really annoyed me, but then we saw him signing autographs and stuff when we went to a GP and later on an unrelated TV show and I warmed to him.. even more so now he is a commentator and we can see his humour.. sport is such a serious business with sponsors etc and some people must find it quite hard to be a likeable personality that suits a 'celebrity persona..(climbing off soap box there.. but just wanted to say.. !)
Beautiful photo of the nest! Very nice.
/Two laptop - yes! We are considering the purchase of the second./
Good luck!
