The sky can be blue ???

This ( early ) morning was a delight. It wasn't raining though the skies were very greys but when we arrived in the park, they were like this

and this

It might not look fantastic if you have a nice weather but after all the rain we had in the past week a bit of blue sky and a bit of sunshine is as close as it can get to paradise.

We had a nice walk, it was really refreshing to go around without getting wet !

Somebody else joined the Big red Whale, a kind of Explorer. I now go to the park since 6 months, taking pictures everyday and it starts being tough finding new things because it doesn't change so much daily !!!

This is what I came up with today

and that little chap

I so much wish I would have time to even take a look at my new camera, I would be able to do much nicer close ups ! In a while, I guess !

Oh and today I got great news. I received an email from my French Auntie, saying she is going to be a nanny again. The last baby born in the family must be 10 by now I recon, may be even older , so another baby is going to be a lot of fun. We still have to wait until January next year though !

Project 365+1 - Day 187 : Empty

My first thought and photo I took was the inside of my purse. I never carry any money, but then I found something a bit more interesting.

I bought this beautiful butterfly box in a carboot sale for a couple of pennies. The plan is to decorate it and put some little treasures inside. It is still empty for the time being, but it's like for the camera, it's a question of time management . . .

Take care everybody, xxx

Anne, I really like the little box.. almost too nice to change it.. and the photos of close up flowers are great already even before a new camera! Our last camera was a shockproof waterprrof etc etc and turmed out not-waterproof.. now I have only my phone camera and tablet.. that's why I often steal other folks pictures from my house!! xx

Your pictures from the park are amazing. You don't repeat yourself. The butterfly is so special - I am sure you will put a treasure in it. I would also think deeply before painting or decorating the box. It is perfect as it is.

I agree with Kathi and Kris, that box is beautiful and painting and decorating would spoil it!!

Yes Anne I did send you some dry weather today but looking at the TV weather forecast it is more rain for you tomorrow and Hastings might just remain dry as the blue rain on the map stopped at Eastbourne :)

Another one saying don't change the box I'm afraid. Love the flower picture.

Yes, I too love the box :)

One of my staff saw caught me taking a photo of the sky, obviously thought I was mad, but it was so good to see it again :)

Sounds like it will be missing in action again for another couple of days :(

My 'big' camera doesn't do macro half as well as my phone. Yours take great shots now!

Have a good walk and I hope it stays dry.

Anne, I also like the little box as it is, I have a thing about wood. I love your fluffy clouds and your macro photos are also great.
