Birthday day 2

Yesterday  I received the photos I ordered from Photobox. I know it was much cheaper to buy in advance credits as each photo was around 2p BUT I received 857 photos AT ONCE.

Yeah I should have realized that if I order 857 photos I will receive 857 photos, but I didn't, lol.

Honestly it was the shock of the century ( 3.1 kg !!!) because now I need to do something with them. My conclusion at the moment is I won't do that again. It will be more expensive, fair enough, but at least I will do it step by step at my own rythm.

On a positive note, I received all my 366+1 project photos until day 122 and I can't wait to put them in the album I made .  Photos of that will follow !

This morning I went to the park as DH went to pick up the kids. It was wet and pretty cold. Hard to believe that end of March I was taking the girls out in T-Shirt.

One thing that amazes my parents when they come is how green England is. Well they will be double amazed when they come at the end of the month because with all the buckets of rain we got, nature is greener than ever.

 Some nice leaves:

People living in this house normally manage to have 2 birthdays a year. Reason is there the official birthday and additionally the day when the kids come to celebrate with us.

I was born in June. June is the month my parents normally come to visit so for my 50th birthday, I even managed 3 birthdays. One with DH and my parents, one with the kids added, one with my father and brother in law on the top. Even Royalties don't have that !

This year my birthday is on a Sunday, my parents will be here and it is the kids visiting week-end, so I realized in shock that I will have to do with one birthday only like " normal " people, lol.

So today is DH's second birthday and he got some presents from the kids. In this family when there is something to celebrate, the " hero of the day " has to sit on the sofa and that's where he/she gets his/her presents. So all our birthday and celebration photos since 10 years have the exact same background : our sofa and the bookshelves behind it.

David offered him some great ear plugs for his phone and Sophie managed brilliantly as she gave him " A voucher for a magnifiscent present of your choice ", so in the end, he still will have to think about something he really would like. Well done, Soph !

Have you seen the way he reads the card with extended arms ? But NO, he doesn't need full time glasses . . .

Project 365+1 - Day 126 : Rough

The idea came to me very early as I was feeding the girls. Since she was so sick last year, I put Bubbles on wet food and it really works for her now.

As of Rhea she is still on dry food and she loves it. These are the heart shaped kibbles she gets everyday.

Whilst I was trying to take the picture, Bubbles was watching the whole time, wondering why I was playing with food.

so I had to give her one little kibble.

For this afternoon we bought tickets to see the Avengers with the kids and even the adults are pretty excited about it. I will let you know how it was !

Take care everybody, xxx

Great photo. I think Holly would prefer to be on tinned dog meat- we had to wean her onto dry food when we got her. But she still doesn't like it.

I hope you enjoy the film- a couple of the people I work with were going to see that tonight.

Yes- adults should come with extendable arms for that time when the print is just too close! I think my dh needs reading glasses aswell as his normal ones now- as he has to take his glasses off to read!

Forgot to mention the photos! I would have real trouble tearing myself away from those- but it would be intimidating getting them all organised into albums and scrapbooking piles!

happy 2nd birthday to your dh :) i had to smile several times at your post.. and it still baffles me how we can be so alike without ever having met!! must be a continental thing, we also have the bday boy or girl sit on the sofa to receive his/her presents.. so all the present photos feature the same sofa and background :D

and he was just admiring the art work in its entirety rather than needing the extra distance to see it clearly :P

I am not sure that coops would take so kindly to his food being played with :) he is quite good at sharing, unless its his B A L L or a treat.. well done bubbles!!
