Mum and Dad love doing crosswords and the girls happily stay with them. You can see on the left that hubby is trying to invade the sofa again with his stuff. You can't take your eyes away from him, lol. See what I mean, Kim ?
Mid afternoon, I got a call from the Vet, he said the results were in and as I told him about the swimming pool, he asked me to pop in with Rhea. The good news are they didn't find any protein in the urine test, so her kidneys are not " that bad " and we can rectify the problem with some medecine.
Bad news are he thinks we are missing something ( specially after I told him regarding the swimming pool ) and he doesn't know what. He listened to her heart again and manipulated her body but didn't find anything. He decided to give her an anti-inflammatory injection to see if she could have a " hidden " problem somewhere. In that case it would make a difference to her walking.
This morning I was in the park at 6:45. The Vet said that if the injection was helpful I should see a difference in Rhea in the morning and I did. She walked doubled as yesterday and was much happier. She then sat down and asked to go home but no dramatic laying down as on the other days. We managed to spend 10 minutes in the park with her so I was really pleased. May be the problem is really related to her paws after all ? The Vet asked me to bring her back tomorrow morning so let's what he will propose.
I went out again with Bubbles. I love this green:
In France we say you can tell a tree's age simply by counting the rings.
Project 365+1 - Day 151 : Groceries
Today was an easy one again. By the way, Suzie, my parents got the virus too as the first thing they ask me in the morning is " What's the word today ? "
Some groceries with a touch of narcissism . . .
Take care everybody, xxx

It is letting me leave comments again!!
I was so relieved to see the update on Rhea- hopefully the thing that he 'might' be missing will be easily treated once they decide what it might be. She has been on my mind since you posted that she was off colour.Maybe the heat was causing distress. Anyway- I really hope that the vet has some wonder drugs in his cupboard and Rhea is soon galloping along with Bubbles.
Lol- I think all men must be the same!!!!
I love your groceries photo- what a clever idea. I don't think I could even have managed an 'i' though- very low on provisions!
Glad that your parents are having a lovely time with you and the girls are enjoying their company so much.
