Instead as promised here are some pages of my 365+1 album. I used page protectors with 9 4x4 slots. My pictures were basically printed 3x2. I have one side of a page per week. I used one slot for the week and dates and to describe who or what I used for the pictures, 7 pictures for the week and one highlight of the week (that is still to be filled in).
If I doubled on pictures on a special day then they are no highlights.
I searched a lot on Internet for interesting or word related fonts and here we are :
It's a lot of fun to do but honestly it's really time consuming !
Project 365+1 - Day 131 : Sandy
When DH and I got engaged it was the perfect moment. We were on holidays in Dominican Republic. We just had dinner and we went for a walk close to the beach. We sat on a bench under some palm trees, there was a light breeze, the moon looked fantastic, he went down on one knee and proposed.
WOW ! You don't get better in movies.
That moment was so perfect that I took some of the beach sand and brought it back home but although it's a precious memory, the sand is stored in a water bottle and you don't want to see a picture of that bottle, lol.
So instead I chose to picture my Zen garden.
If you don't know what it is : When you buy it you get a small tray, some sand, 5 stones and a mini rake. You pour the sand into the tray, use your rake to spread it and make nice looking patterns and you position your 5 stones. It is very relaxing and it is supposed to help you focus your thoughts for the day.
Then everyday you start all over again, use your rake and position your stones to make a different looking Zen garden.
Take care everybody, xxx

Anne, I love your blogging and the great 365 progress pages.. and I know just how time consuming any kind of scrapbooking / photo pondering can be.. and must do more of it soon! Loving the idea of the Zen garden, like an unfinished jigsaw, something to touch or look at as you pass by. and yes, what a romantic.. hats off to your man xx
